Is Altruism an evolutionary trait?   Altruism is a concept that has been debated for centuries, but it's only in recent years that we've started to understand its true nature. What is Altruism?  Altruism is the willingness to act in another person's best interest, even if it means putting your interests aside. It is a social behavior that can be observed in both humans and animals. Where does Altruism come from?
